Terms and Conditions
Of Limousine Hire
A.
Deposits and Remaining Balances.
1. A deposit is required in order to confirm the booking
2. Deposits paid are non-refundable once received by Lords and Ladies
Limousines. This does not affect your statutory rights; this complies with the
Consumer Protection (Distance Selling Regulation) 2000. (Special circumstances will be considered).
3. All remaining balances must be paid in full by the balance due date on
the confirmation form unless a cash or account payment has been agreed with our
office. Cash balances must be paid to the Chauffeur at the time and place of the
first collection (pick up) point. All known charges are payable in full before
the hire period commences. Any further costs such as extra non specified drop
offs, extra mileage, time, parking or toll charges must be settled at the end of
the hire period in cash.
B. Grace Period.
A fifteen (15) minute grace period shall be established for late arrival of your
limousine due to weather, accident or any misfortune. We will endeavour to make
your time up.
C. Damages to Limousine.
The client who books the limousine will be responsible for the conduct of all
members of their party. Any damages to the limousine or to its fixtures caused
by the client, a member of their party or by inciting others shall incur a One
Hundred Pound (£100) 'enforced downtime' charge in addition to the cost of the
repairs and the loss of booked business whilst these repairs take place. A One
Hundred Pound (£100) 'soiling' fee shall be charged if the client or a member or
their party soils the inside of the limousine and any lost time or bookings as a
direct result of this.
D. Cancellation Policy.
1. Cancellations are accepted in writing and a telephone call it must be
received by us no later than 7 days after receiving this document.
Cancellations for Royal Ascot or any other "high demand" event are not
accepted. (Special circumstances will be considered).
2. The chauffeur may terminate your booking if the client or any member
or their party causes excessive delays, are disorderly or, in the chauffeur's
judgment, are unfit to travel, with no compensation made to the client. The
company reserves the right to terminate any and all services due to unruly
and/or abusive passengers
3. In the unlikely event that we are unable to complete a booking due to
circumstances beyond our control, a full refund will be given. Beyond this we
are not liable for any additional costs incurred or the loss of any monies paid
by the client or party for tickets etc for the event they are travelling to.
4. Lords and Ladies Limousines reserve the right to cancel any booking without prior warning, any monies owed will be refunded in 3-5 working days
5. The contract will be cancelled for any violations of terms A and or D
above with no compensation made to the client.
E. Delays.
Although Lords and Ladies Limousines will endeavour to meet all deadlines, we
accept no responsibility for delays however caused.
F. Airport Journeys.
1. The amount of passengers and suitcases will be confirmed at the time
of booking and must not be exceeded due to weight and space restrictions.
2. Charges for airport collections include the first thirty (30) minutes
wait after the flight has landed.
3. Excessive delays may forfeit your return journey as other bookings may
have been taken for the limousine on that day.
In the unfortunate event of an excessive delay or a re-routed flight, you must
call our office in the first instance from your departure airport to confirm
details.
Re-routed flights may not be able to be met by us and additional charges may be
charged to the client. Check with your travel insurance company to see if you
are covered for these costs.
G. Access.
Lords and Ladies Limousines can accept no responsibility for restricted vehicle
access (hump back bridges, width restrictions etc) at any location and are not
liable for delays caused by re-routed journeys.
H. Articles Left in Limousine.
Although we will take care, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage to
luggage or personal property left in the limousine after the rental period,
unless pre-arranged to be left during the hire period and at the clients own
risk.
I. Smoking in the Limousine.
No smoking is permitted in the limousine. Journeys of more than one and a half
hours smoke breaks may be arranged with the chauffeur.
These breaks are at the Chauffeurs discretion.
J. Safety.

Seatbelts,
Passengers in forward facing seats are required by law to wear seatbelts and for
your safety we advise the wearing of seatbelts by all passengers. Baby seats
should be used in forward facing seats only. Baby seats must be confirmed at the
time of booking and fitted by the Parent or Guardian of the child, not the
Chauffeur
2. Whilst the company maintain the highest standards of safety, the passengers in the rear of the vehicle must also take responsbility of their safety - any injury inflicted due to their lack of willing to comply can not be blamed upon the company Lords and Ladies Limousines

Passenger Capacities.
Lords and Ladies Limousines complies with the laws on passenger numbers and so
the maximum number of passengers we can carry in our vehicles is eight (8).
3. Exiting The Car For safety reasons, passengers must wait for the chauffeur to open doors before they alight the vehicle.
K. Breakdowns.
All vehicles are serviced and maintained to the highest levels. However in the unfortunate event of breakdown or due to extreme weather conditions, unsafe road conditions or any other delays caused by issues beyond our control Lords and Ladies Limousines reserves the right to substitute vehicles of equal capacity.
